Pi DAY-March 14

On 14 March Pi Day is celebrated around the world. Pi is a symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant. It is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter which is approx. 3.14. The symbol π was devised by British mathematician William Jones in 1706 to represent the ratio and was later popularized by Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler

 International Day of Action for Rivers-March 14

Every year on 14 March, the International Day of Action for Rivers is observed to raise voice to protect rivers and demand for improving the policies for Rivers. It is a day to educate one another about the threats facing our rivers and to find solutions.

·         Kerala has the highest number of total passport holders in the country, reaching 98.92 lakh, which includes both males and females.Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of male passport holders, with a count of 70.58 lakh. The survey conducted as part of the Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR) Youth Leadership Fellowship in 2023.
