- v Sea Defenders-2024, recently seen in the news, is
a joint coast guard exercise between India and USA.
- v The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Bank
Indonesia (BI) signed a MoU in Mumbai, promoting cross-border transactions
using the Indian Rupee (INR) and Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
- v Election Commissioner Arun Goel has quit and
his resignation has been accepted by the President. The three-member Election
Commission of India already had a vacancy and will now be left only with Chief
Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar.
- v Czech Republic's Krystyna Pyszkova won the
coveted Miss World 2024 title at a grand event in Mumbai. Indian
contestant Sini Shetty only making it to the top 8.
- v Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the
foundation stone for Sikkim’s first railway station at Rangpo.
- v Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated
projects worth Rs 118 crore 72 lakh in Madhya Pradesh through video
conferencing. These projects are under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme and the
Prasad scheme.
- v Bichom, carved out of West and East Kameng, has
been declared the 27th district of Arunachal Pradesh.
- v The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
Raising Day is an annual event celebrated by the CISF on 10 March to
commemorate its establishment in 1969. CISF Raising Day is important because it
marks the establishment of CISF in 1969. The 55th CISF Raising Day is being
observed on 10 March 2024.

Akademi will be held from the 11th to 16th of March. The Chief Guest of
